This massive garage in Bearspaw was a blank canvas for our design team. We knew we had to provide lots of functional storage for this young family but also maintain a sophisticated look to match the caliber of this home and the neighborhood. After a couple meetings with the homeowners we generated the first batch of designs. There were a couple revisions made to the details but we eventually had a plan for the garage that checked all the boxes for the homeowner.
Day one of the project started with the garage flooring install. The Armortech flooring with black border detail took 3 days to install and turned out amazing. We then moved onto the Hayley HC cabinet installation. This custom cabinet layout had it all, tool chest, LED lighting, tall storage lockers, a stack of upper cabinets and plenty of counter space. We keep the colours simple and went with a gun metal grey door colour and black cabinet boxes. The slatwall over the counter top is in a brushed aluminum finish. The rest of the garage was finished with charcoal slat wall and a couple HD overhead storage racks. Although this garage had in-floor radiant heat, the homeowner enlisted us to install a forced air unit heater to help with warm air recovery.
